SHURIKENDO® is an authorized adaptation for kids ages 8 and up to learn a safe form of Meifu Shinkage Ryu Shurikenjutsu. The training course is online and consists of 10 classes, followed up by an online “exam.” After children finish the SHURIKENDO® program, they can become junior members of MSR and attend continued classes.
SHURIKENDO® is currently only available in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Children first enroll in the online course ($75, including a set of safety Bo-Shuriken) and study each video carefully with a caregiver. They only need a set of safety Bo-shuriken and a sturdy carton box that can be hung on the wall.
