No Experience Needed. Join the Meifu Shinkage Ryu Shurikenjutsu classes, led by Chris de Feijter Shihan-Dai. Whether you’re a beginner or have some background in martial arts, these classes are open to everyone. No previous experience is required, making it a wonderful opportunity for anyone interested in learning the art of shurikenjutsu and fundo kusarijutsu.

Authorised Online Instruction

Currently, two MSR-licensed teachers are authorized to provide online instruction. Chris de Feijter Shihan-Day covers North America, and Marco Pilato Shihan covers Europe and Australia. Any other online MSR instruction is not sanctioned by Otsuka-Soke.

How the Online Classes are Organized

The online classes for Meifu Shinkage Ryu Shurikenjutsu are organized as follows:

  • The link and password for the Zoom meeting will be shared through the membership-limited posts on the MSR Online Community Platform every other week.
  • To join the online classes, use the provided link and password.
  • An archived video of each lesson will be posted on the MSR Online Community Platform as soon as possible, allowing you to revisit the material at your convenience.

Below is a demo video featuring Marco Pilato Shihan and Chris de Feijter Shihan-Dai, simulating a private class.

Earn Official MSR Kyu and Dan Ranks

By passing exams, you can earn official Kyu ranks (5 levels) and Dan ranks (4 levels) and certificates from Japan to prove it. Kyu exams cost $35 per level.
